Players Tour Championship
The finals of the Players Tour Championship will take place in the Bailey Allen Hall at NUI Galway. The event will take place from the 12th to the 17th of March 2013.
It is a televised event which will be shown on eurosport. It is a culmination of 13 events on the Players Tour Championship this season, staged around the UK, Europe and Asia.
The top 25 players from around the world will be playing in the tournement, along with 7 of the top players from Asia. This means there will be a field of 32 players playing to be crowned champion.
Some of the players that will playing for the title will include Ireland's own Ken Doherty, world number 1 and UK champion Mark Selby, Judd Trump and 4 times world champion John Higgins. Other players include last years runner-up Neil Robertson, China's Ding Junhui and world open champion Mark Allen from County Antrim.
The overall prize amount is €369,000. This will be split up between all the players with the winner taking home €123,000.
